Profile and Alloy Products
The most common stainless steel alloys we use to produce profiles are 304/L, 316/L and 2205 Duplex. With our laser fusion technology,
we are able to produce far more stainless steel alloys than just these. We are able to produce all standard profiles such as beams, channels, angles, tees,
as well as custom profiles such as sharp angle tubes in stainless steel alloys such as 309, 310, 317/L, 321, 904/L, 2507, and many more.
Did you know? Stainless Steel Structural Company now offers Duplex Stainless Steel Flat Bars. In addition to our duplex alloys,
we also offer standard 20-foot-long flat bars made from the same specialty alloys we use to produce our structural profiles.
All of these flat bars are grit blasted and pickled on all four sides, making them true bars.
In carbon steel, the most common alloy is A36, followed by Grade 50. The carbon steel alloy products we offer are primarily used for custom profiles or projects that require sharp angled profiles.
Typically, these products are used in architectural applications or for exposed profiles that must meet AESS guidelines.
Complete Customization of Stainless and Carbon Steel Profiles
Our laser fusion production method offers many advantages. In addition to the ability to produce angular profiles, this technology allows for nearly complete customization.
Height, width, length, thickness, and alloy are all customizable within our production parameters. These parameters depend on the profile, but include:
Thickness: 3/16" to 1-1/4"
Widths up to 16"
Heights up to 25"
Lengths up to 50 feet
For custom alloys, we can produce a wide range of grades of carbon steel and stainless steel. Most alloy materials can be found on our website.
The rule of thumb is that if an alloy can be welded, we can produce it using laser fusion. These alloys include flat bars, square tubes, rectangular tubes, beams, channels, angles, and T-sections.
Make Your Design a Reality
At Stainless Steel Structures, our goal is to help engineers, architects, and designers meet their precise project needs and requirements, even for the most complex projects.
Our production technology is designed to bring these designs to life. We understand the market demand for common stainless and carbon steel alloys,
but we also know that many applications require specialty alloys. Contact us today to learn more about the alloys and profiles we produce to meet your needs.
